In April we headed up to Nebraska to visit my Grandma, Aunt Debbie, and spend some time with the Fennessy's as well. Zachary was captivated by this owl. He just kept staring it down.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We went through some things in my Grandpa's shed and found this garden cart my Aunt had found. Zach enjoyed being pushed around in it naturally.</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The next day was warm! Zachary played in this pot of dirt for a really long time. Normally, he really doesn't like to get too dirty. He will still come to me with his arms stretched out motioning for me to get the dirt off his hands. He's getting better on just brushing the dirt off himself though and moving on.</div>

Here's a comparison photo of Zachary with Great Grandma at 2 months and 17 months. He's totally adorable at both ages, but dang I do miss that squishy baby that just wanted to be held and didn't squirm. </div>

<br /></div>
Life with a dog…she's always wanting treats. Both of them are still learning how to be fair with eachother. Zachary is learning to project his snacks better when he walks around eating a cheese stick. He's learning that he has to keep it close and not wave it around or just aimlessly stick his arm out. Pepper will come by and snatch it in a second. Zachary gets so upset because it surprises him and he did not intend to give it to her so he's mad that she took it. Pepper is learning to stay back and patiently wait for a treat to be given to her for good behavior. She's having to learn that just becuase Zachary is sitting on the floor or walking around, this does not mean that what is his is also hers. <br />

As evidence by these two photos, Zachary really doesn't need any toys. He find lots of enjoying playing in the kitchen cabinets. All of the them are child proofed except the tupperware, pasta/cracker pantry, and the random tiny cabinet that hold the things he is playing with. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

A few times over the winter, to get out of the house for some free time play time, we'd go to the mall play area to burn off some energy. Zachary is a real observer and it would take him a while to warm up the place. He would mostly just stand around a watch people. I think few time it would just overwhelm him becase there would be so many kids running around (and a lot of them way to old to be doing so). I mean, the whole thing is geared toward probaby four/five and under. Your eight year old should not be playing tag here. Just saying.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
One day, I took a half day off work to do some errands and pick Zachary up early from daycare. They were having popsicles and he had never had one before. Of course I had to stay and watch him and everyone else eat them. Once he got the hang of it he kept saying 'mmm' and nodding his head in satisfaction.</div>

Ater popsicles, they were going outside. Of course we had to stay for that too! I can deprive my child time on the playground! He had fun showing me how he goes down the slide and playing chase. It was fun to see him ineract with the other kids.</div>

My Grandpa sadly passed away this month as well. It seemed to be a bit sudden, but he's in a good place now and breathing easy, hunting all the turkeys he wants, and eating biscuits and gravy every day. Zachary and I were able to enjoy some in his honer that following weekend. Lots of other family members ate it for breakfast that week as well and it was really quite touching to see. <br />

Easter seemed to come so early this year. We opted to not participate in any huge community easter egg hung because Zachary was so young and barely understood the whole idea of it all. We had a mini one in my parents back yard and he did eventually catch on and it was cute to watch. I honestly don't think we will ever indulge in a huge easter egg hunt. The are way too overwhelming for me. Do you participate in them?<br />

We are just going to get caught up with some past photos and then maybe I'll and post some stories every week or two. As the title suggests, these photos are from February.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QcR5DwN5hUE/V5gWS3PEWCI/AAAAAAAAOT8/gyEeSh6mbrUhlHaywnE1IAbOWP9FtW9jACLcB/s1600/IMG_0147.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QcR5DwN5hUE/V5gWS3PEWCI/AAAAAAAAOT8/gyEeSh6mbrUhlHaywnE1IAbOWP9FtW9jACLcB/s400/IMG_0147.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We learned that Zachary could not care less to actually color with his markers. He was much more fascinated to try and put the caps back on or stick them end to end like a long sword. Doing this could easily entertain him for almost 30 minutes. Such concentration.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-a_bLNb-38gU/V5gWZER7nhI/AAAAAAAAOUc/c4tQBzcWWMcPur1KYFjY4V35V-SdXeg7ACLcB/s1600/IMG_6695.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-a_bLNb-38gU/V5gWZER7nhI/AAAAAAAAOUc/c4tQBzcWWMcPur1KYFjY4V35V-SdXeg7ACLcB/s400/IMG_6695.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is what dinner looks like at our house. Pepper is easily trained though, as now she lays down next to Stephen and doesn't get up until Zachary drops something or we take him out of his booster seat. That is Pepper's cue to lick up what he has left behind on his chair. Its nice to have a dog around; I hardly ever have to sweep after dinner!</div>

Zachary got his first short, cool dude haircut. He did very well with the buzzers. We got him another short haircut in June that was supposed to last until the end of summer…but he's starting to look shaggy.</div>

Oh yes. This was the time Pepper got in BIG trouble for getting caught red handed (or would that be red pawed? lol) for chewing up three of Zach's book. Earlier in the week she had chewed up some stacking blocks, and then it was two plastic toys a few days later. I was mad at her because she should know better, but it was partly my fault as I had left the toys on the floor and she has the freedom to go outside whenever she wants. But this time, I had everything picked up and these books were on the coffee table, which never in her whole life as she ever snatched anything off of it. I came back into the living room after putting Zachary down for a nap and saw that the books were gone. I ran outside and they were strewn across the yard. Pepper immediatly knew she was in trouble and darted across the yard with her tail between her legs, came inside, and went straight to her bed and didnt look at me for about five minutes. She learned her lesson... <br />

February in Oklahoma can give you little teases of warmer weather. We took full advantage and headed to the zoo that day. It was beautiful and we saw quite a few animals.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And then the next week, its cold out! But it's still beautiful enough to spend some time at the park. Zachary really enjoys the park. What kid doesn't! Most of our parks here are not entirely toddler friendly, so Mom and Dad get to climb all over them as well so Zachary doesn't fall off.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Here we are at the dog park. Sadly, we don't get to go as often as we like anymore. We used to go a lot during the week right after work. Of course, that was before Zachary and when he was just a little baby and bed times weren't as strict. Anywho, obviously Zach used to think this was just a different kind of park with things for him to climb on and Pepper just happened to tag along. As he's gotten older though, he's much more aware of the other dogs there and likes to stand and watch them all run around and he'll chase the little dogs.</div>

Just kidding! Zach doesn't help with chores, are you kidding me, he barely has the attention span to put his blocks back into the basket. We get about half of them put away and he's off to do something else. However, I have noticed that he really likes taking stuff out of my drawers and then putting them back (sometimes).</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had to document him getting into the dishwasher at least once. For some reason this is just so cute. Although, now 3 months later, he still tries to crawl onto it, but we redirect him to just help close it. We've had a few close calls of him put taking a fork out, or trying to pull a plate out or bang the dishes around.</div>

We finally got a new sink in January. It was my job to keep Zachary occupied and out of the way, but as you can see he just wanted to be like the big guys and help out.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love the new sink by the way. It's not top notch or anything, but it was on sale and a HUGE improvement from what we had before, so that basically makes it the best sink ever.</div>

I debated putting the tree up this year because Zachary is mobile and I didn't want to constantly be telling him to leave the tree alone. We replaced all the ornaments with shatter proof ones just in case he got any fancy ideas. Thankfully, Zachary left the tree alone for the most part until a few days before Christmas. He liked to take the ornament off and then stick someone in tree. We found a few toys in the tree as well, and the remote.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For Christmas, Stephen and I got him his own chair. It came with a table too, but it's a bit too tall for him, so we are saving that for another year. He loves the chair. He likes to stand on it and watch you make dinner.</div>

I went to his Thanksgiving lunch at daycare. I am always so impressed with all the kids and how well behaved they are when it's time to eat. Everytime I have been there for eating time, they all sit quietly in their chairs and just wait to be served. They each stay seated while they eat and rarely get up and start walking around when they are done. I'm amazing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyway, this day was fun, because we had lunch together, he showed me some toys, and then I was able to give him his bottle and put him down for his nap which was really sweet.</div>

I held out until after Zachary turned one to get his hair cut. At first I didn't want to because it meant my baby was growing up, but then I realized that his hair was quite long and shaggy and it really needed it. It was in his eyes and ears a lot. We took him to the downtown Friendly Barber Shop. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He was on the verge of being hungry and tired so Severo had to work fast. Zachary tolerate it pretty well, but he was getting squirmy. Severo did a great job of distracting him and moving all over the place because Zach kept moving around. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9h-r50-jPa8/VuoMtYpQuII/AAAAAAAAORM/tsxMld7IlHo6i6s1-1a5w-IA5x6ujiIZQ/s1600/IMG_6447.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9h-r50-jPa8/VuoMtYpQuII/AAAAAAAAORM/tsxMld7IlHo6i6s1-1a5w-IA5x6ujiIZQ/s400/IMG_6447.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He just got a trim this time, but it looked so much better than before. I was sad to see the little curls go, but he still looks cute! It's Severo thing to put a little mustache on the baby who gets his first hair cut and then get a picture taken. The mustache is a bit weird, but oh well. This picture is now on the wall at the barber shop. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zachary also got a First Haircut Certificate! It says:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is to certify that ZACHARY BRISTER has bravely met all of the requirements of his First Haircut and has graduated from babyhood on the 14th day of NOVEMBER in the year of our Lord 2015.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Since this was just a trim, we got his haircut again in Febuary…but this time Severo didn't let me just do a trim! He said, he's not a baby anymore and needs a big boy haircut. He used the clippers and everything and Zachary didn't seem to mind it a bit.</div>

I did so well with quick monthly updates for a year, but now I just don't feel like posting. After sitting at a computer all day, the last thing I want to do is sit at a computer at home and do a blog post. I really should give quick updates though that have more substance than a facebook post for all of our extended family to read. I'll do better, okay?<br />
<br />
So, lets back track a few months to Zachary's First Birthday. It was really nice. We had some family and friends over and lucked out with really nice weather. We were able to have the chiminea out in the yard and people gathered around and chatted.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-31wb5paZVjQ/Vs6D3LywQoI/AAAAAAAAOQ0/pFCfAECTTQc/s1600/IMG_6436.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-31wb5paZVjQ/Vs6D3LywQoI/AAAAAAAAOQ0/pFCfAECTTQc/s400/IMG_6436.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I made some simple cupcakes for everyone to enjoy and Zach got one. A little cupcake was all he needed for some sweets. And truth be told, most of it ended up on the floor.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He enjoys this monkey that he got as a gift from Stephen's friend, Josh. He sleeps with it at night, I think it brings him some comfort feeling something on his back or having something to hug. Zachary has since learned how to give hugs to us too. It's really cute. He'll coming running to you and wrap his arms around you and give you a squeeze. But it's the sweetest when he just gives you a gentle hug when he's being held.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZNYxOWgx7-I/Vs6Dy0ijilI/AAAAAAAAOQo/cghKkiJ_c1k/s1600/IMG_6435.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ZNYxOWgx7-I/Vs6Dy0ijilI/AAAAAAAAOQo/cghKkiJ_c1k/s400/IMG_6435.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
My parents got him these gifts of the bike and basketball hoop. It took him a few tries to be able to ride the bike, but now he's a pro. It probably helps that he's grown some and can reach the floor a lot better now when he sits on it. The other day, he had us laughing though. We thought he was going to take it for a spin, but instead he got on it from one side and then promptly got off it on the other side and toddled off to do something else. </div>
<br />

<br />
Oh I almost forgot! I did make a compliation movie of pictures and videos from his first year that I made everyone at the party watch. It's super cute and awesome! I posted it on Facebook, and I'm sure you all saw it. I'm not sure if I'll do one every year, it was quite a bit of work!<br />

Zachary is ONE!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Man that year flew by fast!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He has 5 teeth and 1 about to poke through. He weighs 21lbs and is 29" long.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
His favorite foods are bananas, noodles, and blueberries. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He can say "mama", "dada", "dog", "pepper", "hi" and "bye". </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AO2s89mF8tw/VkFOouMa_eI/AAAAAAAAOPY/w0MyjUu2kns/s1600/IMG_6377.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AO2s89mF8tw/VkFOouMa_eI/AAAAAAAAOPY/w0MyjUu2kns/s400/IMG_6377.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He likes to mimic you and play games with you. One game he likes to play is putting a hat on your head and then putting it on himself. He also likes to put an object in the hat and shake it until it jumps out. He's starting to dance and wiggle some when music is turned on. He received a basketball goal for his birthday and love its; he tried to climb on it the other day though. He also got a little walker/bike. He was so excited about his new found freedom he had using it to walk around the house. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5RIQbJaaBdQ/VkFOpBMdnyI/AAAAAAAAOPc/fUgoIHdPVr0/s1600/IMG_6402.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5RIQbJaaBdQ/VkFOpBMdnyI/AAAAAAAAOPc/fUgoIHdPVr0/s400/IMG_6402.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He's so much more aware of his surroundings and understands patterns. For example, every day when I pick him up from daycare he starts saying "Dehdah" (pepper) over and over again. When we get home, we open the back down and he leans out, saying her name and waving. We watch Pepper run around the hard and Zachary gets a big kick out of watching her.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4ffRKAkIATA/VkFOppF0wGI/AAAAAAAAOPg/0LpmVO-v8sI/s1600/IMG_6368.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-4ffRKAkIATA/VkFOppF0wGI/AAAAAAAAOPg/0LpmVO-v8sI/s400/IMG_6368.JPG" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Intently watching Pepper eat an ice cube.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />He is transitioning from the infant room to the toddler room at daycare and will be in the toddler room full time sometime soon. So far, he's handling the transition well. It's been a little toucgh some days because his little friend from the infant room is a month younger and is not transitioning at the same time. So, Zach is learning how to play, interact, and make friends with the bigger kids and sometimes the big kids don't understand how to play nice. We are also haveing to transition to a different nap schedule and eating big kid table food while at daycare. Yeah…lots of changes, but he's handling them well. I on the other hand, wish I could be with him all day long to fully understand what his day is like.<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Zach and I have also reached our goal of breastfeeding for one year. Yeah for us! We are still nursing when we are together, and I really have no idea when we will stop. </div>

Mister Zachary is one seriously mobile baby. He crawls everywhere and can go quite fast if he's excited about something. He is getting very good at walking while holding onto things as well. He can go all the way around the coffee table and transfer from that to the couch with ease. He can also go all around the kitchen while holding onto the cabinet doors. This new found ability to 'walk' has also made him realize that the kitchen cabinet doors are really fun to open and close. He likes playing with the tupperware and pantry (pasta, crackers, potatoes) cabinets. I don't mind that he gets into those becuase it's not breakable stuff. However, now a majority of the cabinets have been temporarily baby proofed with rubber bands. It was getting a bit stressful trying to start dinner and also keep an eye on him or keep a door shut with my foot!<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I'm glad I finally got a picture of Zach sitting like this. I think it's so cute. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
In other exciting news, Zachary is cutting 4 teeth at once! One bottom front tooth and one top 'vampire' tooth are poking through. The other two of the same description are on the cusp of breaking through as well. He's not really drooling and doesn't seem to be in much pain from it so that's good. We have broken out the orajel a few times, but it gets on his lips more than his gums so I don't think it did much good anyway. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Zachary has also learned to wave. Never on command though :) It's way cute seeing him wave hi to Lanita (the daycare worker) and wave bye to his friends when I pick him up. Speaking of friends, he has a buddy named Will at daycare. I've been told that they are best buds! They follow eachother around everyone and are always in front of their classroom door causing trouble. The director had to make a "Caution: babies crawling" sign on the door so that whenver someone opened it, they would do so carefully so as not to hit one of them. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9yqx9e2hXqU/VhxsB78fp_I/AAAAAAAAOOs/xDMDsHUzEUM/s1600/IMG_6275.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-9yqx9e2hXqU/VhxsB78fp_I/AAAAAAAAOOs/xDMDsHUzEUM/s400/IMG_6275.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I think I said a few months ago that Zach didn't mind having his diaper changed or clothes changed and he was super calm about it every time. Well, that is no longer the case. Every time he is laid down to be changed he fusses and tries to roll over. Then you have to grab his arm to keep him from rolling over and try to put a diaper on the same time all the while he is letting you know that he does not appreciate it at all! Needless to say, I'm always asking for help to change him. I have no idea how they manage diaper changes at daycare…maybe it's a two person job there as well.</div>
<br />
Zachary went on his first plane ride to Tucson this month as well. He did great! He was awake and happy on the way there and slept on both flights on the way home. I have the perfect child!<br />
<br />
We can't wait to see what you learn this month and are looking forward to celebrating your first birthday in just a few short weeks. Man, that really does go by fast!<br />

It happened literally over the weekend when he was 9.5 months old. One day he was up on his knees, the next day he crawled just a few paces and then the following day he was full on cruising everywhere.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GVp6hWszMD8/VeyS16r877I/AAAAAAAAON8/pumuXCQoHzs/s1600/IMG_6186.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-GVp6hWszMD8/VeyS16r877I/AAAAAAAAON8/pumuXCQoHzs/s400/IMG_6186.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I think babies are wired to crawl and get into everything they are not supposed to. Of all the cabinet doors in the kitchen he could get into (the one with all the tupperware would be great for him to play with), Zach chooses to go straight to under the sink…every. single. time. He also prefers to play with my hair dryer and iron cords whether they are plugged in or not. I'm going to have to find another solution for that. He also likes to play with the doggie door. He hasn't crawled throught it yet, but he could very easily put two hands on it and come crashing down. He's also discovered Pepper's water bowl, as I found him playing in it multiple times today.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hYp9wBuGwQQ/VeyS23Er3XI/AAAAAAAAOOE/LPp_WdcOvOs/s1600/IMG_6196.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hYp9wBuGwQQ/VeyS23Er3XI/AAAAAAAAOOE/LPp_WdcOvOs/s400/IMG_6196.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
This month he also has learned to pull up and stand with ease and will do this with anything within reach. He also learned to clap. One night at dinner, he just did it out of nowhere and got a huge kick out of himself.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U143JNCHY5g/VeyS31AbZZI/AAAAAAAAOOI/vSJZ3ZNqYRQ/s1600/IMG_6200.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-U143JNCHY5g/VeyS31AbZZI/AAAAAAAAOOI/vSJZ3ZNqYRQ/s400/IMG_6200.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Zachary will still eat pureed baby food for the most part, but has also really mastered putting small bits of food into his mouth like a champ. He'll start to get fussy at dinner, but you give him some "real" food and he's good again.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Kyug2VbC9Xo/VeyS2MYFS1I/AAAAAAAAOOA/HaFrE6p3B_k/s1600/IMG_6178.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-Kyug2VbC9Xo/VeyS2MYFS1I/AAAAAAAAOOA/HaFrE6p3B_k/s400/IMG_6178.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
He's a sweet kid and we are starting to see his personality emerge. He has a great sense of humor, loves to grin and flirt, and can really voice some strong opinions.<br />
<br />
Two months to go until you're ONE! I love watching you grow up and discover new things and venture out on your own, but please don't forget that your Mommy loves to hold you, stroke your hair, and hold your hand, so please remember to turn around and come back to me so I can cuddle you for a little while.<br />
<br />
Well..he's up from his nap. Gotta Go!<br />
<br />

Happy 9 months Zachary!</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
At his nine month appointment Zachary's stats are:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Weight: 19lbs 10oz (36%)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Height: 28 1/2 inches (60%)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Head: 46" (71%)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zrg5dkm1czg/Vcv0ctI7EII/AAAAAAAAONI/kzcYiNPGMp8/s1600/IMG_6009.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-zrg5dkm1czg/Vcv0ctI7EII/AAAAAAAAONI/kzcYiNPGMp8/s400/IMG_6009.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He is starting to get more and more mobile. He doesn't offically crawl, but he will rock on his knees and sort of scoot himself forward or backward. If he really wants to, he can definately roll and scoot himself around an entire room. I'm counting my blessing though that I don't have a mobile child just yet. This means he's still my little baby!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gsYWjj-9fJo/Vcv0bjbHUmI/AAAAAAAAONE/WETopgEb3R8/s1600/IMG_6020.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-gsYWjj-9fJo/Vcv0bjbHUmI/AAAAAAAAONE/WETopgEb3R8/s400/IMG_6020.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We are trying out new foods here and there aside from the pureed baby food. He likes the prune/apple variety, who would have thought! He's had pancakes, couscous (which he was quite perplexed by because it just got everywhere and stuck to his hands and he couldn't figure out how to eat it), strawberries, black beans, rice, scrambled egg, and tonight he may have had a few bites of cupcake and icing! We still have no teeth, so even though he's pretty good about squishing the food around in his mouth, baby food is just the easiet route right now.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AHq8Kn-wDxQ/Vcv0c66ZSWI/AAAAAAAAONQ/R90gC4XIRSE/s1600/IMG_6024.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-AHq8Kn-wDxQ/Vcv0c66ZSWI/AAAAAAAAONQ/R90gC4XIRSE/s400/IMG_6024.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We are fairly certain Zach can say "Mama". I take that back..we are positive that he can. He's a serious mama's boy. It's really sweet though, at night when Stephen is getting him ready for bed, and holding him until I'm ready to take over, Zach will lean over and reach out with his arms and just say "mama" over and over again. Sorry Stephen, you just don't have the goods like I do!</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YM5baRDE2Po/Vcv0ehtWSzI/AAAAAAAAONc/pcGXi2jObdQ/s1600/IMG_6053.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YM5baRDE2Po/Vcv0ehtWSzI/AAAAAAAAONc/pcGXi2jObdQ/s400/IMG_6053.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He's really like standing up and pulling himself up. This picture was staged, I stood him up there. However he can easiely pull himself up to his knees by the chair or coffee table.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TD7GMBMOzqg/Vcv0e7m86pI/AAAAAAAAONg/DbnRQ_YpF1s/s1600/IMG_6055.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-TD7GMBMOzqg/Vcv0e7m86pI/AAAAAAAAONg/DbnRQ_YpF1s/s400/IMG_6055.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We love you Zachy boy!</div>

We have offically entered the stage where these pictures are getting a little bit harder to take because he messes with the chalkboard!<br />
<br />
Zachary is now eight months old and weighs about 20 lbs. We are quickly outgrowing clothes! He loves rolling over, especially at changing time. He's discovered his feet and loves to grab them and try to suck on his toes. He laughs when you tickle him or make a funny noise or tell him 'no' when he grabs for his glasses or your own. He'll also laugh when Pepper licks his face.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-h_FU4Hyt-ug/Vaql8RjbibI/AAAAAAAAOMU/vm8mzewItA4/s1600/IMG_5894.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-h_FU4Hyt-ug/Vaql8RjbibI/AAAAAAAAOMU/vm8mzewItA4/s400/IMG_5894.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He can't crawl yet, but can scoot backwards and in a circle really well. He loves to stand and bang on the coffee table. Maybe he just wants to skip the crawling stage…we shall see. </div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
As you can see, he got glasses this month. I think he's rediscovering the world all over again becuase he can see it now!<br />

We went to our first Edmond Liberty Fest parade as a family today to celebrate the 4th of July. We dressed up in our best holiday gear (plus OSU chairs) and found a shady spot on a grassy knoll overlooking the parade route.</div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption">Zachary and Stephen await the festivities.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Megan got inspired this week and completed a successful art project with Zachary. We placed his blue-paint handprint on a white t-shirt, and added red stripes to complete the patriotic theme. Rounding out the ensemble are some new blue shorts (on the cheap from a consignment store, of course).</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
The parade opened with George Washington carrying the original 13-star American Flag followed by the Army National Guard band and a giant flag carried along by hundreds of local Boy Scouts. The Military Order of the Purple Heart, Disabled American Veterans, and Blue Star Mothers of America are next in line and all receive standing ovations. They open this way every year, but it still chokes you up to see them all pass by and receive just a small bit of the full amount of praise they deserve.</div>

Zachary almost made it to the end, but couldn't quite fall asleep with the humidity and the fire engine horns. So we called it quits and got naps. It was a great day with the family. Happy 4th of July, everyone!<br />

We didn't do anything too crazy for Fathers Day. I'm not one to make a big hoopla out of these holidays, so we just got a few chores done and then spent some time together as a family (with grandparents) at the pool.<br />
<br />
We went to church and the guys were just too handsome looking to not take their picture.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjjNmB88Rnk/VYoGvCHWkrI/AAAAAAAAOKQ/-dUwcSM-U_U/s1600/IMG_5526.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GjjNmB88Rnk/VYoGvCHWkrI/AAAAAAAAOKQ/-dUwcSM-U_U/s400/IMG_5526.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Being a father suits Stephen really well. He loves getting Zach to smile and laugh and is patiently waiting for him to get bigger so he can run around, wrestle with, and generally do boy things together. </div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5RTt8xyB45E/VYoGuR__TiI/AAAAAAAAOKE/XqgXaFVP9X4/s1600/IMG_5527.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-5RTt8xyB45E/VYoGuR__TiI/AAAAAAAAOKE/XqgXaFVP9X4/s400/IMG_5527.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zach and I really appreciate everything that you do for us. Thank you for helping me to walk and sit, and pretty much do anything, that first week after giving birth. Even though I did it naturally, my body was wiped out and useless. Thanks for taking care of me and changing all the diapers that first week, and for helping us learn how to nurse and being a great encourager through all of it, even now. Thank you for taking on the duty of washing the bottles and getting the milk ready for the next day of 'school'. It's a huge help while I'm calming a fussy baby. Thank you for putting the diaper bag, milk bottles, and pump bag in the car every morning on your way out the door. It's a small gesture, but a huge weight off my shoulders. Thank you for being the best supporter during this breastfeeding journey. It's an easy thing to do, yet so hard at the same time. Thank you for wanting to stay awake in the middle of the night with me while I nurse Zach so I'm not alone or the only one tired the next day.</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zachary loves you and I love you. You're the best Dad we could have asked for!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And a happy Fathers day to my Dad, too! He's such a great baby whipserer right when you need him to be. He's also a great help with Pepper, taking her on walks, etc. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zachary loves to splash around in the bath, and I thought the pool would get the same reaction out of him. Not so much. Of the two times we've got he kind of just chills out and doesn't move or give any expression at all. That's okay, it's still fun!</div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Stephen will probably hate me for putting this on the interweb..but who cares.<br />
<br />
<div>
A few weeks ago, Stephen's job had a week of fundraising to raise money for the local food bank. It was big deal and every department was competing to raise the most money. I get a call one day that he wants to raise $250 to shave his beard into weird styles. I was hesistant to give the okay because I had really grown accustomed to it and would also now have to wait for it to grow back so we could do family photos.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As you can see…is department raised the money. Which I still don't think was enough to warrant putting Stephen through this torture, but it was funny and fun nonetheless! I also gave in because he assured me it would grow back in like two weeks so we could do pictures. He was right. </div>

This was Zachary's second long road trip and he did a great job!<br />
<br />
My aunt Mary Alice and Uncle Dave hosted us for the weekend. We had some delicious french croissants for breakfast one day. They were so buttery and awesome!<br />
<br />
The boys and MAL made 60lbs of mild and hot italian sausage. The best part of the whole thing was taste testing it along the way!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We also stopped over to see my Grandparents and aunt Debbie. We had Grandma's meatloaf for dinner…which I don't think I had ever had before. It was quite good.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Everyone doted on the little man and commented how smart of a baby he was. It was cute and we were glad we were able to stop by and say hello.</div>

I was able to take these pictures last friday…so if we want to get technical, he was 7 months and 1 week old. Lol.<br />
<br />
I've got to make this quick though since Zachary is currently napping and I fear he might wake up soon because he's been asleep almost 2 hours which NEVER happens.<br />
<br />
- Zachary can now sit on his own with ease and I don't have to worry about him toppling over. It still happens occasionally though, so we put a pillow behind him to catch his fall. Falling back onto a hard wood floor is no bueno!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-52lRa_E0y6k/VX2mgmpslnI/AAAAAAAAOFI/a7G1j1CF46c/s1600/IMG_5478.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-52lRa_E0y6k/VX2mgmpslnI/AAAAAAAAOFI/a7G1j1CF46c/s400/IMG_5478.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
- He moved up to size 3 diapers and weighs probably about 18 lbs.<br />
<br />
- I just learned from the daycare teachers that Zach feeds himself is own bottle now! They lay him on the boppy pillow and he grabs it from them and just goes to town. I should ask for a picture of it sometime.<br />
<br />
- Zach constantly rolls from his back to tummy and just hangs out there. He can scoot himself around, too so I wonder when he'll start going backwards or start crawling. I better get in the habit of keeping my floors clean now.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5IfUBldmzvY/VX2mhe2FRFI/AAAAAAAAOFQ/9oQ9QcmIPHM/s1600/IMG_5486.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5IfUBldmzvY/VX2mhe2FRFI/AAAAAAAAOFQ/9oQ9QcmIPHM/s400/IMG_5486.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
- He loves to give himself kisses in the mirror and also reaches out for me to hold him. It's so cute.<br />
<br />
- He's a big fan of eating purees and loves peaches. He's had sweet potatoes, squash, bananas, pears, applesauce, peaches, and carrots. He's also had the tiniest piece of a donut and chocolate chip cookie and seriously vocalized that he wanted more…not yet buddy!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KHgKX5WwUnU/VX2miNnWYBI/AAAAAAAAOFY/q_LB75D0gP4/s1600/IMG_5491.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-KHgKX5WwUnU/VX2miNnWYBI/AAAAAAAAOFY/q_LB75D0gP4/s400/IMG_5491.jpg" width="300" /></a></div>
<br />
- He's been to the pool once and seemed to enjoy it. He just sat all chill and relaxed in his floaty.<br />
<br />
- He's becoming more and more aware of Pepper and will reach out to pet her on occasion…but mostly just gets licked by her.<br />
<br />
- He loves to stand up as well and jump around in his amazon exersaucer.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hm_isGNYTak/VX2mis5ANUI/AAAAAAAAOFc/9DPdO8_PQVU/s1600/IMG_5496.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hm_isGNYTak/VX2mis5ANUI/AAAAAAAAOFc/9DPdO8_PQVU/s400/IMG_5496.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Zach currently takes two, sometimes three, naps a day and goes to bed between 730 and 8. I am still pumping breastmilk for him during the day and nursing him when we are together. I plan on continuing this until he's a year old or maybe even a year and half if it's still working out for us. <br />
<br />
This little boy is growing up fast and we are loving seeing his personality emerge<br />

I couldn't find the camera charger for a few days. Now that I found it I can charge the camera and take photos tomorrow.<br />

Here's some cute ones to tide you over…<br />

It's a special thing to be able to tell your child, this is your tree, we planted it just for you. Just like we will nuture you, the earth will nurture this tree and you will both grow big and strong. It's fun to watch the tree grow as the child grows.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7i4PbCpK-o8/VVqTlnqIMiI/AAAAAAAAODQ/Iyw5ndVtPdM/s1600/IMG_0497.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-7i4PbCpK-o8/VVqTlnqIMiI/AAAAAAAAODQ/Iyw5ndVtPdM/s400/IMG_0497.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
We finally got around to planting Zachary's tree in March and we chose an Oklahoma Redbud.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Right after the tree was planted in March.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Here is the tree in May. Way more exciting becuase it has leaves now!</div>

Zachary is half way to one year! Crazy stuff.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Weighs approximately 17 pounds (and I'm really starting to notice that when I hold him)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Likes doing art at daycare.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Kicks around in the bathtub</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Will put anything into his mouth</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Started reaching for objects on a table with intent</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He can almost sit up on his own, but is a little wobbly still. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zach has also started to reach out and touch Pepper on the nose and let her lick his hand. It's really adorable!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g2kCBL66zZ0/VUl8RQYdSLI/AAAAAAAAOCY/htnETx-IUCo/s1600/IMG_5415.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-g2kCBL66zZ0/VUl8RQYdSLI/AAAAAAAAOCY/htnETx-IUCo/s1600/IMG_5415.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zach continues to be a really good sleeper for the most part. He goes back and forth with only waking up around 4am and sometimes 1130pm and/or 2am. He goes back to sleep really well though if he's held and nursed. Which is probably a bad habit to get into… but when you also need your sleep, you just do whatever works the best.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5Ad9kK7BY8Q/VUl8RTV549I/AAAAAAAAOCU/wrau0ho9-Bs/s1600/IMG_5422.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5Ad9kK7BY8Q/VUl8RTV549I/AAAAAAAAOCU/wrau0ho9-Bs/s1600/IMG_5422.jpg" height="400" width="300" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He hates being on his stomach, and even though he knows how to roll over, he just won't do it. I think he's lazy. He would also rather just lay on his back and move from side to side than roll over. He'll get there eventually.</div>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lVl4mE6bN68/VUl8P33Oo3I/AAAAAAAAOCM/iOtzIrk8a54/s1600/IMG_5436.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-lVl4mE6bN68/VUl8P33Oo3I/AAAAAAAAOCM/iOtzIrk8a54/s1600/IMG_5436.JPG" height="300" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Look at that drool.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2pLKTwnldog/VUl8SNXB1nI/AAAAAAAAOCc/WXq9AHae_N0/s1600/IMG_5445.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-2pLKTwnldog/VUl8SNXB1nI/AAAAAAAAOCc/WXq9AHae_N0/s1600/IMG_5445.jpg" height="300" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">His sweet smile.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
We also started him on 'solids'. We tried pureed sweet potatoes and he loves them. He opens his mouth real wide and just talks and talks during dinner. I'll have to post the video soon. <div>
<br /></div>
<div>
We are still battling allergies with the little guy. His cough has suppressed for the most part, but then his eyes became really watery and gooey in the mornings. We put some essential oils blends on his feet and chest, and I think they help him, at least at night they do.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Zachary is such a joy and can put anyone into a good mood with his coy smile and little laugh.</div>

Zachary turned 5 months old! Just like everyone tells you, time is really flying by.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He is 15 pounds.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Loves to smile at you and then look away</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Laughs when you give him belly blows</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Discovered that he can suck on his own lips/tongue</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Can almost roll all the way from back to belly </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Can hold himself up in his play gym and has mastered grabbing for and holding onto toys…and then putting them in his mouth.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zach has no teeth yet and has not shown any interest in 'solids'. Which is good because Mommy is so not ready to start solids yet. Maybe next month…</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Zachary is a very chill baby and we love him for it. He has his moments though and recently has started to actually cry when he just wants to be picked up and held. Otherwise, if he only wants a change of scenery, he'll just fuss and whine. He still spits up alot and it's completely unpredictable in when it will happen and how much. It can be really frustrating after a day of it and both he and I have change shirts twice. Little man also had his first ear infection a few weeks ago. He didn't seem bothered by it though. Hopefully this is not a sign of many more to come. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Before I know it, he's going to be sitting up and eating solid foods. But let's not rush things, it's still super sweet that he depends on us and just wants to be held sometimes.<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
Zachary is now 14lbs 3 ounces and 25 inches long.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He is in size 2 diapers and wearing mostly 3-6 months clothes. Be can still wear a few 0-3 months if they are on the bigger end of spectrum.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Just today he finally rolled from belly to back multiple times without getting super mad!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He can hold onto his teddy bear and other toys on this play gym.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He talks ALOT and would rather suck and chew his fingers than be given a pacifier.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Zach hardly ever cries unless he's hungry or you take too long to respond to him fussing.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He's been sleeping in his crib for about a week now and we all sleep so much better. He still wakes once, sometimes twice a night, to feed, but that's to be expected…he's still an infant!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

Zachary is now three months old.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He is 13.1 lbs</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Holds his head up really well.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Can grab onto his blanket, pacifier, or toy.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Still loves his music star, hanging out on the changing table and bath time.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He is in daycare now and I think he enjoys it…but it sure does wear him out!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Zach still sleeps through the night, but will occasionally wake up once to feed.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
He is currently battling his first illness as he has a bad cough. He's being really good about taking his medicine though. Let's all pray that he gets over this cough quickly!</div>
